Is not the graphics that are impressive, check this out:

I hope that's the actual sound of the game because it's damn great!

This stuff is allready in another thread, btw, shouldn't this be in the ps2 forum? This is just as bad as all the forza threads (which I'm guilty of being in :D).

IJ dont care about enthusia

I dont come here to read about enthusia or look at enthusia

Am I the last of my kind?

I don't think enthusia will be as big as GT4 or Forza but I have to say, its looks graphically pretty damn fine!

nah id say leave it. gives us gt4'ers something to compare and contrast with.

its not looking too shabby at the min is it? although id say untill we see some known circuits and a wider variety of cars (not just latest versions of "the usual" makes) then my moneys on GT4

I thought most people here were fans of Racing games in general, not just GT.

I own every GT game ever made but i play a whole bunch of others too. And sorry that this was already posted but it should have it's own thread i think. Game looks extremely realistic in motion. Can't wait.

Yeah, no reason to hate a game just because you think GT4 will maul eveything (IT WILL THOUGH) Looks to be a good game, but as I always do, I reserve my judgement until I PLAY the game. Although I been makin preparations for GT4.... ;)
Like my own cockpit that will soon have the Logitech II wheel.

I am a BIG Gran Turismo enthusiast, and although I'm not the kind to get all giddy about physics and gubbins like that, I do have to own up that Enthusia looks mighty impressive on the handling side of things. Graphics needs a litte work done to it to match GT4. This might possibly be the first game to really stand up and challenge the mighty GT. Plus of course a little competition can't be bad. We will just have to wait and see who comes out victorious. I would like to place a small bet on who is going to win though. :)

I feel from the Shots, that some of the cars look poorly modelled, depsite having a better polygon count, but you never know, its a konami game, so it might be good or it could just be like Driving Emotion Type - S by Square. :sly:

Well even in the cool mocked up video, the cars wheels look slightly flat in my opinion.
But it still early, and I think that this game will be better than Forza.

I am impressed by the physics engine, but will it lose its fun factor? fromt he sim feeling.

I once bought this game from the discount bin - grrr it gives me shievers if i think about playing it again :scared:

Hajaz
it wont have online play tho :(
we have GT4 for that ;)

Enthusia is looking great, I wasnt expecting this quality from it. A question: on the video I think I saw a car driving in Nurburgring. Is that correct?

It is a Mercedes Mclaren SLR on the Nurburgring :) , but Not many people like that car, what about the Uber-Sweet Carrera GT?

This was a great video. It does look like Enthusia will be a great game, but it wont be a GT4 killer. I will buy it, from the appearance of it alone, but I hope there is more to it than that. I hope it approaches things from a different light than GT4. If not, there would be no real need for me, or us, to buy it.

I agree what was said earlier, the cars do look a little off. But, so far, so good. The sound is pretty accurate, so I hope Konami can make it with DD5.1 surround sound. I hate the surround sound feature of GT3, and the lack of proper surround sound in GT4. PD will use their own surround sound, which isn't very good to my ears.

the game looks tasty! thanks for the screens.

zee said something about the wheels being flat.

:dunce:

GT4 has 2d wheels. No biggie.

It looks awfully promising, but the pictures don't show it. The trailer is where Enthusia and its car models shine, as a trailer is intended to help do. There's not much more to say about it until we see a track and car list. And maybe Konami will let me roll a nicely-modeled Mitsu SUV over while they're at it?

I am very much looking forward to this game.... It looks to be the only thing that can come close to GT in terms of physics.... The car models look good too (although not as realistic as GT4 by any stretch of the imagination).... Forza looks to have a physics system that is in between arcade and simulation, which doesn't excite me as much, being a die hard sim fan.... Not to mention Forza's car models and texture mapping look subpar to GT and Enthusia IMHO (while Forza does have better reflections than Enthusia)...

I am going to buy all three, so it doesn't really matter....

Yeah, the trailer is gorgeous and shows off the physics even more than this vid... The jumping SUV's in the desert sold me, as well as the silver R34 taking the series of S-Turns (showing the very realistic body roll and traction)...

I'm very much looking forward to this game....

;)
