GT5 2.0 Totally Busted

Yesterday after down loading 2.0 I couldn't go to the Nissan new car dealership or the regular used car dealership without the game freezing. So I tried to re-install the game to fix the problem. Now after I did that I was able to down load the new intro but now trying to go into GT Mode or Arcade Mode after the intro freezes the game. The game wont even play anymore. I guess I'll have to get on COD to take out some frustration. Man this sucks. I loved GT5 and I hope it gets fixed so I may play it again someday.
 
I had some problems too...just try again. Seems to have all been sorted by itself.
 
No, it's still not working. After the new intro and I try to go to GT Mode the screen turns black with GT logo in the center of the screen like it's loading it but nothing ever happens.
 
I've not had any problems since the patch. How long are you waiting with the logo on the screen? I've seen mine sit there for up to a minute before...
 
I've waited over 10 minutes and the music stops playing but the logo is still there. I tried over and over again by restarting the game and it has finally loaded. I then went to the Nissan new car dealership to try to buy the new GT-R and the game froze once again with a grey GT5 logo on the bottom of the screen. Now I'm back once again trying over and over again to get the game to enter GT Mode. If I can get it to again I'll just quit trying to get that car. I may try deleting and reloading the game again but that takes so long.:irked:
 
It is most likely slow GT server and internet connection. Happened randomly to me. Sometimes takes as long as 15 min. When it happens, either quit and play another time or drive the same track. Switching between modules is painfully slow. Worse when everyone is downloading spec II. One way is to disconnect from PSN and try running GT5 if all u want is to buy the new GT-R. Works for me. the issue I'm now having is that I deleted the game data as instructed by other members to fix the issue of no longer being able to open any manufacture on the Dealership page. however in doing so... it deleted all game data, and now the problem still persists.. and now I can't even buy a car to start racing to try and recoupe the vehicles I lost along with the time or stats....


this has gone from bad to awful, Anyone have any cars they can gift or loan me so that I can start up some funds... and try and win some cars etc?

well... I can get the used car lot.. not the new... NOTHING loads from ANY dealership. and It will sit there loading for HOURS... and do nothing.... ugh epic fail...
 
Loading the game while not signed in helped me play the game again. Once loaded I can then sign on to do the seasonals. I'm still not able to get on some of the dealerships, arcade mode and probably some other things I haven't tried yet without it crashing though. It doesn't matter if I'm online or not. If someone would send me one of the new GT-R's I'll send them any premium car or cars they want.
 
They added several helmets and suits but didn't put that in the Info/News unless I missed it. To the existing helmets they added 4 more each + 5 new styles of 34 and the suits they raised to 34 and added 3 more styles.

Helmets: 690 --> 952
Suits: 660 --> 850

The first time you start a Seasonal Event it takes a while to load...you have to wait for each car to turn white. After that it takes the normal amount of time to start a race.

I also noticed that when you go to the new car dealerships now some of them take longer to load that before, especially if you have to scroll over to the right or if they loaded the new NASCAR race cars in that dealership.
 
i just logged into gt life while being off of the psn... and its still trying to load the cars 45 min later.... the issue must be in the update itself... for some reason. I can't seem to load the new dealerships.... the used isn't an issue the new is however.

it just sits here loading.. o well
 
I had problem from new dealership freezing as well. Will try later again as I can't even play the game when log in. I can send u the new gt-r once I get back online.
