gt5 b-spec time simulation speed

This may sound like a dumb question but since i'm new in the GT community, it should be acceptable. It took me a while to learn how to change the simulation speed (1x, 2x, 3x) on gt4 b-spec, and now, with gt5 I simply can't figure it out. Did they get rid of this option? if not what's the secret? please let me know because I actually like those endurance races but would like to be able to save some "real" time.
 
Yeah they took a big retarded step back from GT4 in that respect (for me anyway)
 
So we gonna have to spend dead 24 hours keeping an eye on the bspec race?
How I'm gonna do this I don't know. And you can't even pause the game.
 
Yeah I haven't gotten to the endurance races yet but word is PD has no mercy. ha. For me I will probably ignore most of the endurance events a-spec or b because I have a life :)
 
I can't ignore this since I waited nearly 6 years for this game, but we'll see.
