Today i join the gt5 corrupted saves club, i lost: a spec level 38 and b spec lvl 33, 636cars, everything gold except the last 3 endurances in each career. This doesn't look so bad because i had a backup file but then the problems happen, i wasn't paying attention to what i was doing and accidently clicked delete on the backup file (ouch :guilty: ). So anyone can help me recover?

Hang on, you deleted the backup data? Couldnt you use like those recovery things like Recuva?

I quess you deleted your file on your USB stick, so use a program like file resque plus
or tune up utillities trial version to restore your deleted file with a PC.

I managed to get the old file back but when i load the game it says file corrupted.

I've leaned that directory rights on the USB stick does matter.
Delete the PS3 directory from the stick and create the structure new.

there is in option a thing called salvage and as far as i know it fix the corruption
The problem is if i delete the game data i can reach the utilities but before that the game will tell me that it can't read the files and it will tell me to remove them.

Try reinstalling the game data. This should work if you still have your game save. 👍
Let me know how it goes.

Yes but the other save files that i have on my USB work fine, the problem was or still is GT5 save because i deleted from my USB and my PS3 system.
