Gt5 demo on PSN+ soon???

Hi,

i know about the beta thread, but this is serious (or at least i hope).

Just bought PSN+, and there is a video about psn+ (also available to all users).

During the clip, you see the "Get demos early" and with that same phrase they display footage of GT5!

So is to be taken seriously or is it just a marketing scam (as they know that we will see it sooner or later)??

What do you think?? Do we'll get a demo???

Yeah, that's a marketing scam. Don't be expecting a demo of GT5.

We get 3 free months to try it out, anyways. That puts us in September.



edit: OK, so you have to buy a year to get the free months... I bought it anyways.

Just watch it again, and it's only GT5P footage, so i was too optimistic. take a look yourself at the store. It's probably just a marketing joke

I spotted that as well and think it's pretty likely too. It would definitely tempt to get PlasyStation Plus.

If there is I'd put money on it being exclusive to PSN Plus subscribers, check out the PSN Plus trailer and see which game is shown when they announce exclusive demos and betas!

Think you may be right but really hope you're wrong on a GT5 demo perhaps only being accessible to PSN Plus subscribers.
Maybe a smart move to persuade people to upgrade to Plus but I really hope those who aren't can also play a Demo-version of this widely anticipated game ( which may be smart looking purely from a GT5 point of view ).

I hope I'm wrong too! Maybe an online multiplayer beta/demo will be released early to PSN+ subscribers to gently test the servers and then be publicly released to the masses. It would be a fairly cynical move to get people signed up to PSN+ but I'm sure it would be successful.

The worry I have about PSN+ is that it would only be linked to one PSN ID which could cause problems if you want to use it for your GTP_PSN ID for GT5 but your main account is on a different PSN ID!

PSN+ content is supposed to be available for all accounts on your PS3 as long as the master account has PSN+.

My guess is that they will offer GT5 as a free download to Playstation Plus subscribers at some point. It's a game already on PSN, and it doesn't really cost them anything extra at this point, so I can easily see them using it as part of PSlus.

(+ Little Big planet for early suscribers (till 3rd aug. i think) which cost in germany amazon 28.49 and in UK 12.99)

Grand total:
1st month + LBP : 69.38 WIN
1st month - LBP : 40.94 *12 = 491.28€

That's a deal in my taste (if you don't already won half of the psn store)

+1 They probably will give GT5P a 50% or 75% off (or better yet, FREE) come close to GT5 release. That sure will boost some sales.

I saw that and would infact come in real handy as most of my games come from the UK, but my main account is not registered in UK so that would mess thing ups for my previous purchases, throphies,.... But i though about it...
But with the discounts from UK i can easily pay the 50€ PSN card ;P

Kaz said there will be no demo. They don't want to spend any time making it and want to finish the game.

£35 is the uk. is the same as $50 in usa. its the same price everywhere. you take $50 to the uk and the'll give you 35 pounds or something like that
