Does anyone here have multiple versions of GT5? I am trying to compile a list of differences between different areas, such as countries and what not. I mean this besides things like units, because my UK version uses different power values than my US, and both are off from the money in the JP version.

The only real thing I can think of at the moment EXCLUDING spelling differences and units is that the JP version includes Alfa Romeo Museum Cards, while the other two do not. I cannot understand why the UK version does NOT have Alfas! And such beauty, to be held back from the US? Complete rubbish.

Oh, and there are formatting differences too, but is there anything else? That is my biggest pet peeve, but I have only updated my JP game, while my US version is in an endurance race (and I ignored the update) and I haven't been on the UK to update it. These changes are great, we really do appreciate it Polyphony. My only concern is that there is no tachometer in multi player, and with such a comprehensive update, I fear it may be one of the last. I imagine that a sliver of the team is working on some new cars coming out (or their modifications/changes, such as S to P models), and another sliver on the new seasonal events, but the majority is working for GT6*. Without that tach, I just can not feel the cars at all(this has honestly completely ruined multi player for me and my friends). Also, can we see the differences between times now? Before 1.06, if the time differences were more than 2.5ish seconds, they would not show up.

On the seasonal events, to PD. When we get to the level 20ish area, the game starts getting dry. I have an obsession with automobiles, and love the game, but races start lacking, and so do funds. The older style was AMAZING. There were two options-use a junky car, and work hard to win. Major reward. For poorer players, like my younger cousin, it gave him a chance to get major credits and just modding up his car more. But ya'll are smart, we know. If you put every mod on a car for those races, the money you earn isn't that much. If you win 250k, but you bought the FASTEST car for 175k, and put 50k into it...250k isn't much, you only walk away with 25k. But Polyphony Digital is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT because what happens because of these races? You made 25k-1.5mil because of the race. You got to either use a fun car, or buy something brand new. And you had a bunch of new races for the week, which keeps interest sparking. So what the heck happened? I did one of these new races, and just shut my PS3 off in disgust. And to make you understand how bad that is, is that I imported a Japanese Racing Edition PS3. Why would you hurt us like this?

I mean, in order to do the high end races for million plus, you have to be able to buy the right car. If you can win that corvette race in a 67, you deserve it. If you need the ZR1 in RM form, with full mods, then you probably are not at level 21 or 23, in which you MUST be to buy it. So what's goin on? You built checks and balances into your own system, but then just throw it away? Why not continue to build and improve?

It was also nice, each week getting to use one new premium car that could get racing mods. I never looked online until recently, but since there are 17, that is 17 weeks to get all the cars with racing mods. Not sure how fast ya;ll work, but would 17 weeks be enough time to have five new RM available models for download?

I have gotten very off topic here, but these concerns have been on my mind for quite some time, and I just now have made a GTP account. The GT55YW is Gran Turismo 5, 5 Years Waiting. I made this as my PSN account two years ago, when I had only been waiting five years(since right after the debut of GT4).

Remember Polyphony, even though we want you to improve, we still love you and cherish your gift to us. Thank you :)

*GT6- I know it is way off, and supposedly just going to be a similar update/changing in operations rather than a whole new game, but surely it is going to take some intense working.
