GT5 DLC transferring?

Hey guys, i dont know if it has been asked or not but since the Family Upgrade only applies to the car&track packs, can I buy the dlc on my sub account and transfer all the paint chips and racing gear to my main account using the gift option?
As far as i can remember(i havent played GT5 since last July) there's an option for gifting the paint chips but i dont have any idea about racing gear
 
oh man that sucks, at least i can try to send a car from my main account, paint it and send it back, or i'll just get the tracks. Thanks for the info!
 
No problems mate! I have the same problem (tis on my dads account) so I may buy the paint pack for £1.59.... doesn't seem too much...
