It just needs small tweaks.

The game is already great. The smallest changes could improve the game a lot!
Asking things like more events, more cars, more tracks, better shadows while nice, would take a lot of time and frankly if they couldn't do it in 5 years what makes you thing that they will make it now?

This is NOT a thread which suggests big changes that PD should make for GT5. It suggests small tweaks that would use the current feature-set of GT5 in a slightly different way to make the game more enjoyable.

For example:

• Making new events is time-consuming. Since most (all?) bought GT5 to drive and some even bought a wheel to enhance the driving experience polyphony should allow us to drive in B-Spec events so that we could win more prize cars and increase our A-Spec level and credit.

• We bought the game to drive. So you should be able to accumulate A-Spec points (which would increase our A-Spec level) in all game modes: arcade quick races, drift, online etc.

• Since mechanical damage is already implemented give us an option to drive in A-Spec mode with mechanical damage with the ability to earn more credits and experience points (use a multiplication factor of 2 in beginner class, 4 in amateur, 6 in professional, 10 in expert). At the end of the race subtract a portion of our credit earnings to repair the damage (the more the damage the more credits are subtracted)

• Introduce a paint shop. For example I won a blue Ferrari California. Allow me to buy rosso corsa paint so that I could have a red ferrari with a beige leather interior. (even better: make paints free!!)

• Introduce a DLC which would allow us to drive all cars in all tracks in arcade quick race. This could be a paid DLC but with a reasonable price. If you want to take photos of your cars or tune them, or use them online you should buy or win them through the standard GT Mode. Also you would not earn any A-Spec points by driving these cars in arcade races.

All these ideas I mentioned are very easy to implement since they require no new features to be implemented.
For example while I would like to have the ability to save during an endurance race (and honestly it's baffling how this feature is not implemented, thus there's no way I am even trying to compete in the endurance races) I understand that it's not as easy to implement as the ones I have mentioned earlier.
Likewise instead of creating new A-Spec events which would be cool but time-consuming for PD they could just allow us to use the B-Spec events as A-Spec and vice-versa .

Suggestions? Comments?
