I have set up a new event within GT5.

At every event, I will select a random track, and set some restrictions (such as Super GT or 500PP).
There will be 3 races per event: 2 sprints and an endurance race.

Sprint 1:
This will be a 1 or 2 lap race around the selected track. Grid positions are determined by the "fastest" setting within GT5, so get there early if you want get a good time in. The 3 people who finish on the podium will receive 3 points each.

Sprint 2:
This will be a 3 or 4 lap race around the selected track. Grid positions are determined by the "reverse based on previous results" setting within GT5. The 3 people who finish on the podium will receive 3 points each.

Endurance:
This will be a 40-60 minute race around the selected track. Grid positions are determined by the "reverse based on previous results" setting within GT5. Points for this race are as follows:
  1. 20
  2. 18
  3. 15
  4. 13
  5. 12
  6. 11
  7. 10
  8. 9
  9. 8
  10. 7
  11. 6
  12. 5
  13. 4
  14. 3
  15. 2
  16. 1

Time: 3pm GMT
Track: Spa Francorchamps
Restrictions: MR/FR/MR and 580PP max

There will be a few surprises included on the night.

Wrong section, you need Racing Series section.
 
Just some constructive criticism; the points system leaves much to be desired. There isn't enough emphasis on winning. The third place finisher should never get the same accolades as the first. Also, the difference between 2nd and 3rd is 3 points, but the difference between 1st and 2nd is 2 points. If I get 3rd, 3rd, and 3rd, I can still win the round when someone finishes 4th, 4th, and 1st. The average finishes are the same. Just a thought.
