GT5 ever crashed on you?

Just completed the FF and Japanese classics races on puke-spec (I'm just aiming for the Mazda Fuira(?) then I'm done). I clicked on the 'Home' icon to see what vehicular delicacies I had been bestowed. The silver 'GT' emblem has been on my screen for a few minutes now with nothing happening.... the piano music has now stopped.

Looks like a reset is in order. I can't be bothered with this; was hard enough to sit through the first time.

never happend to me, Ive been playing since launch day, on collectors edition (EU) using my old 60gig. The fan makes noise but i lvoe my 60gig, she does wonders

Happened to me twice tonight exact same buddy.

It seems to be due to the server downtime !

Have had to quit game and restart but havent lost any progress due to it so i wouldnt worry.

Once, had to rerun a race. Annoying, but once in hundreds of hours playing does't surprise me.

It's ok!

Just reset and restarted the game. As I entered GT mode I was awarded the prize cars and what-not for those events.

The game has crashed twice on me so far. The first time was excruciating; I'd just completed 9 out of 10 licences (all gold of course) and the loading bar for test 10 had filled, but the test did not start. I waited for five minutes and still no good. I was dreading having to reset because I didn't know whether it had been auto-saving. Anyway, I'm glad to say on 60 golds that it did save my progress!

The second time was similar, but not after something that had taken quite as long as getting gold in the licence tests. So, only twice since the day before day one on a day one 60GB PS3!

i have my new slim 120gb ps3 on 24/7 since release day grinding B-spec races and have NO CRASHES so far.
