GT5 Flying Nascar Glitch

Hey guys, When GT5 came out I got it at midnight and played for only a few days, I believe the third day of playing I got this glitch to occur from messing around with damage trying to get the falling objects trophy. Wow that looks so much like, not a glitch!!! IRl a car will fly real high if you hit it like that. The phisics also seem not to have roofs as much but triangles with noo friction.

I don't think a NASCAR would fly THAT high if it were hit, but it would fly pretty high. I wouldn't describe it as a glitch though, just as an oversight in the engine which is no big deal...how many times are you planning on going head on with another car in a racing simulator?
 
If you could turn damage OFF, so he's like KITT from Knight Rider, THEN get that much air, would make for some cool Superman type photos, lol.

I was trying to wreck the car as much as possible then all of a sudden the nascar goes flying in the air, looks to me like a glitch.. A nascar would not fly vertically in the air, but then again could be physics lol..

Anyone know how to get that falling objects trophy?
 
they did an awesome job with nascar in the game just the drafting is a bit exaggerated is all
 
Use a WRC in arcade mode, i got a door to fall off my Focus mate :) at daytona too! just ram into the walls... took me 33 minutes for it to happen though...

I got the trophy, does anyone know how to get a car to flip?? Any specific levels or cars?

Trial Mountain.

Take any decently powered car and hit that massive bump on the right side of the chicane just before the last stretch and the start/finish line.

Works every time. :) I've been having fun with that spot since GT2.

Does suspension matter at all?
 
Having bad physics when it comes to high speed collisions is not a glitch. I hit a wall at 100 km/h and got a bent fender. is that a glitch too?
 
Damn thats high. If you look closely, he gets hit and slightly airborne, it's the second impact that launches him a mile high! HA!
