GT5 freerun while racing online?

I wish they set it where you can still practice the track while a race is still going. Like when you join a server with a long race, you can select freerun and you can still drive around, but you'll be a ghost. The racers cant see you, and you cant see them. You could only see yourself and other free runners until the race is over.

Or atleast better spectating options.
 
Good idea. I hate waiting for races to finish. Though it would extremely unrealistic, but hey, its just a game.
 
Nothing sucks worst than joining a lobby only to see the host start race while you are going to select a car or tune. Good idea.
