So i wanted to grind some xp with Bob and decided to have do another Nring 4h but instead of puting him in the X2010 i chose my yellow F40.

OMG..the battle during the first lap with the Ruf CTR2 and then the S2K GT1 was amazing. It was like watching a Best Motoring video.

I highly suggest the F40 for Bob as the car is perfectly modeled and is fast enough to win (with all mods and racing soft) but will still battle during the first lap.

Speaking of randomness, I was watching the pilot of the mostly stupid "The Cape" the other day, which was pretty stupid, but ... but ...

it had Summer Glau driving a Mercedes SLS AMG, and I couldn't take my eyes off the AMG.

Darn you Gran Turismo.

I have 2. One stock and one that changes paint every now and then. But now its yellow with black rims and it's gorgeous.

I saw a yellow one in Switzerland..and it was gorgeous.

What's up with the name of this...OHHHHH I get it. You were hooked watching the race, as though you were watching porn. Ha ha. This might get locked up but it makes sense.
 
Yellow is like the second official Ferrari color. Any Ferrari looks great in yellow.

Yes. The X2010 is boring to watch but bob racing the yellow F40 on the ring is porn :dopey: . He is sliding all over the place..so much that i had to have him pit at lap 3 ..lost all his lead. At least it's interesting to watch.

yellow is the official Ferrari colour (see the background on the badge), whilst red is the national racing colour of Italy, in the same way that Britain is dark green, Germany is silver and Japan is white etc.

Yellow goes well with ferrari's, with any superish spotscar I find. Says something like 'dirty fast, and to be noticed'. So like porn in a way. Porn also has this particular and often extravagant taste and distaste surrounding it. So if yellow is ya thing, work with that, and we'll find our way to deal with incoming thoughts.

Now back to gt5 porn. I find my pictures of the lancia delta something rally car drifting around toscane extremely statisfying. Anyone else got some?

Yea I dig. Some B-spec races are so fun to watch, especially if they're really close, paint is getting traded with every corner, etc. Sometimes Bob runs closer races than I do!

I agree with the rest of the posters saying that yellow looks great on a Ferrari. For me red and yellow is what I would have in my Ferrari, if I had one in rl, but in game, yes.

Speaking of which I dont have yellow Ferrari yet in game. lol Might sell the California and buy me a new yellow Ferrari!
 
Yellow and red are Ferrari's most used colors.
Though red os more used but Yellow has this attractive sense.
 
yellow, or "gold", is the color of modena... although ofcourse red is italy's international racing color.
 
The off-white Scuderia you drive in one of the S-license tests looks fantastic though.
 
Any colour could potentially suit. Look at the Ferrari website; spec up a car and check out the colour range. Of particular interest should be the classic colours - i.e. the re-imagined versions of colours once offered on classic Ferrari GT road cars.

I want a black F40 - I can't remember where I saw one, but it was good.

I always like to keep my eye out for ways to make races more interesting. I'm not here to grind, thankfully. :)

My only regret is that GT Auto can't turn your F40 into an F40 LM.
 
Nothing beats the original red paint job of the F40. The paint is so thin you can see the carbon weave.

A family friend owns a 1,400 mile example and I always cherish my time when I am in its presence. :)

Well yes, but that is French Blue.

USA's is technically a dark blue (Navy Blue) with white vertical stripes or vice versa.

For a show car, sure. Generally, I find it garish, or "kitsch". But I'd feel the same about Union Jack liveried cars, stylised or otherwise. :crazy:

Oh yes i agree. The F40 LM in Forza is actually pretty well done. I can only imagine if PD had done one....
