Does anyone know why my copy of GT5 will just not install?
At about 20 minutes left, the installing icon stops appearing and the cancel button no longer works.
I have 14GB out of 160GB available, so there is ample space. I started the install 3 hours ago and it hasn't even responded to me pressing the cancel button yet.

There are no smudges/scratches either.
 
If it that's the case of your disc being perfect, then the game might be trying to write data into a sector of the HDD that might have gone bad. You might want to check out other games and see if they recreate the problem.

If not, then you may have to replace your HDD... :nervous:
