GT5 Install problem

Alright, hi. I do not know if this problem is known.

Few weeks ago, my PS3 stopped playing discs after a GT5 freeze. It was a lens problem. I got it fixed, but I was playing for about 3 days without installing. I installed the updates, but I skipped the HDD install. I was playing fine, until it stopped loading my cars in garage. After I exited and entered again, I could reach the first page, but when I tried to enter the GT Mode, it would start a long loading which every time led to me quitting the game. Note that I have the best internet service in my country. So, I went forward to start installing. I left it open to install from 3am yesterday to 5pm today. The bar was empty, it hadn't loaded even 1%.

What do I do? :nervous:
 
I think you should uninstall the game by deleting the GT5 game data. Keep your save file. After that you install the game to HDD before you start playing it. You may have to install updates first but that shouldn't take too long if you have a good connection. Try that.

One thing before you uninstall, try loading the game without an internet connection, I mean actually disconnect your ps3, not just signing out. I've read this has helped may people. If it loads everything without a connection, quit and try again with it. I'm sure it will work.

Too late now, im in the 10th of the 17 updates huh. If it still won't work, I'll try your version. Thanks! 👍
