GT5 Is A Hoax !

Seriously though, this has gone beyond rediculous, and i am begining to question if its ever going to be released.

Think about it, if you where 16 when you bought GT4, you would be of drinking age by now, and GT5 is still not out yet.

If someone would have asked me on 2/22/05 what GT game i'd be playing in 2010 i honestly would have said GT6 wihtout a doubt. And yet here we are.

You all realize that any other video game would be hypothetically burned at the stake, and boycotted if it took this long in Dev.

Really though 5 years is a long time, not just a long time for a game to be in development. People change in 5 years, i sincerely hope that there are alot ppl who would have bought it 3 years ago, but have since out grown video games. If i was not such a huge fan of the series, and not absolutely sure this game is going to be incredible, I would not purchase it just to spite PD and Sony.

I really don't understand why there's not a very loud outcry of WTF Sony !!! from this Forum. Granted i don't visit here very often, but i get the sense that most of you are just happy for a lil video here, or couple screenshots every few days. Seriously !?!? You should all be furious at PD, i know i am!

If i had the money i'd spend it all just to fly to Japan a Kick the S*** ot of Yamouchi (i really don't care how its spelled).

Has anyone ever told him that technology WILL ALWAYS be changing, and you can't have it all. I want that in the game, i guess we'll just push it back another 6 months to a year.

After you've digested my opinions and views on GT5, Also remind yourself that there is still not even a release date given. They say it will be within the year, but they also said GT HD would release with the PS3. Also think about this Turn 10 has put out THREE games Since GT4!!!!!!!!!!


P.S. There's already talks of Forza 4 in early 2011.
 
Do you remember any other GT games that have been delayed? I don't think there has been on that hasn't.

I agree, there is no excuse for this long of a wait, and they've bitten off a lot more than they can chew. And with Sony breathing down their neck pushing them to incorporate all of their new gadgets, I think it's ultimately Sony to blame

The sad thing is though, Forza 4 will probably still be half the game GT4 was
 
Don't think about the game if you don't want the game. Simple?
 
PD has put THREE games out since GT4!!!

Tourist Trophy
GT5Prologue
GTPSP

Go play them, they're fun.
 
GT is unlike any other game anyway, you get them half as often because they're twice as good.
 
it is true that it has been in development for a really long time, but when you think about about it they had to overhaul the whole engiene that was used in Gt4 and coupled with adding more cars, tracks. its simply the greatest racing game to ever hit the market, (I hope)

Before this thread perishes, just realize that in terms of percentages, the game is likely about 5% from 100% (or 95%). 3D tvs are set for this year. GT5 will be in 3D. GT5 will release this year. You can wait.

the tone of the first message - Sounds like you want ti because its GT5, but you are ticked off about everything else, calm down about it.
 
honestly, the only time I ever think about Gran Turismo 5, is when I spend 10 minutes out of my day going online. The rest of the day, my brain is pretty much gran turismo-less.

And this is coming from "GTlover"rx, who happens to "love" the "GT" series. There seems to be more people creating threads about getting pissed off at GT5, for the delays. If those people want to post about that, PLEASE COMPLAIN ABOUT IT ON ANOTHER WEBSITE! We do not need this kind of attitude, on this website, at all!
 
Put more effort into the construction of your posts and please attempt to be constructive rather than make a whole thread to complain about not having a video game as soon as you wanted it. I don't have the authority to make you do anything, but I think it's solid advice.

The outcry you speak of is not found here because most of the GTP community are polite, patient people who aren't compelled to create childish threads like this.

It's his game in the end, and his choices are ultimately his alone to make. Yamauchi-san is a perfectionist. And perfection is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. He is keen to implement Sony's latest technological offerings in his game. Though you may not care much for 3D or Move, it's still healthy for the Sony brand.
