Why the hell was my thread closed? The GTp community is bloody awful right now with the apologist and ass kissers not being in the slightest sympathetic to peoples complaints about the game.

GT5 has schismed this community like no other game in the series. Whether the ass kissers like it ir not GT5 IS a poor game by ANY standards not just PDs. If the mods actualy STOPPED the replies that attacked those genuinely disappointed with the game then things could improve, sadly there's more chance of hell freezing over than that EVER happening.

on multi format simulator sites around the web GT5 is an absolute joke, the GTs used to be held up as a shining examples of the closest console games could get to being called a "proper" sim. Now......just a butt of jokes. The sooner people realise that this game is massively flwaed the sooner PD may see that it NEEDS fixing. Maybe the Mods should create a section for all GT5 complaints??? Rather than just locking them, and then remove all the apologist excuses in the complaint threads.

Prolly get banned now, lurked here then joined when GT4 was released. Enjoyed the series from day one so much. So disappointed with EVERYTHING about the game. Enjoy your mindless grinding cretins....I'll still be doing it, just not enjoying it.

I'm just laughing at your face right now.... It's your problem if you were over hyped for this game, expecting it to be the second coming of Jesus on the PS3... It is not, its a game...

I for one, still enjoy this game, I've done all A-spec races except endurance. And i am having the time of my life online...

If you don't like this game, don't play it, its that simple, don't waist our time reading how you don't like it, i don't care....
 
U've probably missed the boat here mate.. I think they probably just locked your thread because your saying nothing that hasnt been said before a million times... How this helps PD or anyone IDK.

I'm disappointed in GT5 the way a parent is disappointed in their genius child making a mess of his life. So much potential and is this all she can do?

However, you still love them. Critical when they mess up, offer suggestions when needed, praise when deserved. But they still do what they want to do. Shows occasional flash of brilliance, but keep messing up the simplest things :)

This is what I don't get!

Why are you playing a driving game?

This is like when people complained about there being no "career mode" in GTPSP, and they're grinding for credits.
If all you're doing is trying to complete the game, you should ask yourself if you actually enjoy playing it.

90% of my time in GT5 is spent time-trialling (for no credits) and online (for as good as no credits). Because it's fun! Driving the cars in GT5 is fun. I would play it if there were no A-spec mode at all (forget B-spec, it's like looking over someone's shoulder in an arcade), and just 50 arcade cars.

People that "grind" for credits are just trying to get to the point where they can stop playing a game they've convinced themselves they enjoy. By the time you've "completed" it, you'll be sick of it, and if you ever would have enjoyed the simple joy of GT5, you certainly aren't likely to do that after putting yourself through the grinder.

The complaint threads are scattered and fragmented and usually good critical discussion is ruined and hijacked by the apologists.

It NEEDS to help PD, GT5 is dying a death It's the worst scored GT ever, ridiculed in Sim forums. God only knows what the Forza crowd are making of GT5, for the haters it's christmas and they're birthdays all at once with the hash PD made and are continuing to make with this game.
