I do not play GT5 that often, but those times i do actually play i usually have to go through HOURS and HOURS of re-installing or fixing this and that.
Shortly after release i was playing the game. I decided to pre-install some files to improve loading time... Result: Game completely corrupted.
Later on, a update arrived. Same story.
Now after update 1.11 the game wont boot. I´m trying to re-install all game files and download all updates as we speak. Which probably wont be finished until tomorrow thanks to low download speed.
I´ve re-installed the game 3 times and each time taking hours and up to more then half a day. This is just completely unacceptable! The few times i want to play this game i have to go through hell to play it, then i´m met with long loading... even longer because i no longer trust the pre-load and am simply not willing to take the change of having to go through this again.
The game is out but that does not mean you have to stop working if you insist on patching. Bug test this ****!
I may have complained to much, that was actually not why i´m posting but it´s to late now.
My existing problem is that after the logo shows up while booting the game it goes away and i´m met with an endless black screen. Knowing the track record, i´m not sure if the re-install will do. I mean it´s going to install that patch again. So how can i fix this if re-install doesnt work?
I´m asking ahead of time because i refuse waiting longer then i have to, i´ve been patient enough.
Still a fantastic game... when it works.
