Hello there, guys! I was wondering, did you ever think about including a clock with the official GT5 time (i.e.: GMT) at the header, or anywhere else? It would really facilitate trades!

Hmm, seems like a good idea. Wouldn't mind having that exact 24 hour clock timer in the top right like it is in GT5. Anyway, at the end of the day it's Jordan's decision.

That's an interesting concept... I hadn't thought about that before now! But my only concern would be that affixing a more concrete clock might permanently inconvenience trades with people halfway around the world if cars were had to be traded by a single time zone, wouldn't it?

You think so? Hmmmm, I can't see why it would, since it would be setting a standard, wouldn't it? So someone in say, Brazil (XD), could trade with someone in Russia, with no confusing mentions like "tomorrow's afternoon", but something like "February 9th, 15:00 GMT". At least, that's what I think :) It's what I already try to do, at least 👍

But nevermind that, TB demonstrated that sometimes the best solution IS the simplest solution =D Maybe we should make a thread in the marketplace about this and some general guidelines and try to get it stickied, what do you think? It would all still be a suggestion, of course, people could opt to follow it or not :)

There is a race clock in the chat room, having 2 would be confusing, but I'm all for a common time in the top corner.

(Is there any reason why the race clock isn't GMT, or is it just because of the large number of US users?)

You can view the "GTP Standard Time" clock at https://www.gtplanet.net/time - it's the Race Clock in the chat. I won't be implementing the clock in the site's template, but as TB suggested it is probably simpler to organize trades around GMT for the sake of easier conversions.

The Race Clock is just the server's time (it's on EST). I didn't feel like writing a more complex script to convert that time to GMT as it would have to accomodate for DST. The original point of the race clock was to provide a synchronized time for joining GT5 Prologue online races, so only minutes/seconds really mattered.

I would like to suggest a countdown to reset clock.
A lot of users, maybe younger ones, seem to have difficulty with dates and times in different time zones.
