This thread is for people to share stories - and possibly pics - of massive smashes on GT5. I'll start.

Car: Shelby Cobra 427 '66
Track: Daytona Road Course
Mode: Single Race

It was my first outing in my brand new Shelby, and I was finding it had to control.

What happened: Making an overtaking manoeuvre on the banking, I lost control and span into a wall.

This sent me into the air, and I bounced back across the track, skimming the roof of a passing dodge challenger.

I landed on to wheels, which sent me into a massive rollover on the grass. I rolled about 15 times before coming to a halt.
 
I got into a huge crash in an online NASCAR lobby... I went airborne and did a few flips, I'll post a pic later if I have one.
 
In 2 pages, there are only 2 chrashes.

I rammed at 300km pernhoir at the past corner of trial mountian circuit, flipped three times and it landed on the front of the car, hit a other a bounced over the finish line second place

just make you realize it's just a game

Festa Cavallino.

Started with a 599.
Dropped a few spots heading into turn 1.
Clip the grass on the left of straight.
Car goes to a spin, plows into a 458.
458 goes around.
My car rams into an Enzo and both cars end up like this : /\

Had another one on Daytona oval in my Buick Special. Obviously had the wrong tires; I was sliding everywhere. Hit the banking, and went into a massive nosediving pirouette. Ouch.
 
Blimey! Had another on Daytona oval. This time, a single race in a Honda NSX-R LM Prototype Road Car. I was overtaking on the banking, and took an outside line. Then, this Audi Le Mans quattro does a kind of P.I.T. manoeuvre on me, and I spin into the wall, get airborn and bounce of the roof of a Ford GT. I then flat-spin like six times and land in the infield.
 
I once squeezed a Toyota Soarer into the pit wall divider at Monza and he went flipping all over the place. I think it was one of those bonus races a little while back.
