Totally silly, and slightly sad, but i bought the s2000 lm race car, the gran turismo special, and in its description is likened to the "Porsche 911 GT3"
I have no idea what this means, or is another pointlessly trivial discocery of mibe that no one really cares about.

They mention Porsche allot in the game, in the description of the C5-R is says that the car when against the Dodges and Porsche's.
 
They've been mentioning Porsche by name since GT3, and GT2 got as close as they could to naming them without actually doing so.

Was it a special rear-engined S2000 equipped with a flat-6? If so, I think the description would be quite accurate!
 
Well, I doubt they would have to have a licence agreement to mention Porsche by name in game.. If they do then I feel really saddened for the state of the world.
 
When talking about the RUF they mention that RUF rebuilds Porsches so far that they can call them their own cars. No big deal...
 
When I read the title I thought it was some type of announcement :(

You wouldnt need any kind of agrement to mention a car like that
