I'm not a complainer, and this is meant as constructive criticism.

GT5 is a beautiful game. I have always loved the GT franchise, mostly for its wide collection of cars, real life physics and breathtaking graphics. GT4 is propably my all - time favourite game, next to GT5.

Still, there are a few things I am unhappy about. For example, I remember in GT4 that in the professional league, races and championships consisted of up to ten races, and each race could be held over 40 - 100 laps, depending on the length of the course and event. In GT5, however, the longest event, excluding endurance events, is the "formula gt championship", consisting of 6 events, with 20 laps each race. in my opinion, the GT franchise is moving in the wrong direction when it comes to this form of realism.

Another thing that I miss is the posibility to save in between races in a championship. In GT 4 you could save the game any time between races, but for some reason the producers has left out this option in GT 5. Now one might find themself in a situation that they have to let their console stay on for a long time if something comes up in the middel of a championship. Then again, the championschips in GT5 are not as long as in GT4.

Another thing is that I miss having the opportunity to fast - forward in b - spec. In GT 4 this was a huge time (and electricity) saver. You could fast - forward three times the normal speed, finishing a 24 hours - event in about 8 hours. Now, however, you need to have your Playstation powered up the whole time :guilty:.

And I really don't see the point in having litteraly 150 different models of Nissan Skyline's and almost as many Nissan Silva's and 350 z's. There is a clear overweight of japanese cars in this game (not a suprise when the makers are japanese). What I thing Polyphony should have done was to select a smaler number than 1031 cars, and focused on making them "premium" insteed of plotting in the details of every other skyline.:dunce: That way the game would not look as "half - finished" as it does. I also miss the "Midfield Midwest" and "Apricot Hill" raceways. :indiff:

Lastly, I must say that it is the amazing graphics and realistic physics that makes this game so special. Spending hours and thousens of harderned credits to tweek and tune yout favourite car (because it is definitly in the game somewhere) to maximize its potensial. :)

Best to add this to one of the other threads discussing GT5's issues.
