GT5 Modified game/car threads should get their own section

If Modded GT5 cars are supported by GTPLANET and they appear to be, wouldn't it make sense to have a separate section within gt5 (maybe a subsection of tuning section?) There is a section for everything else. It would help those who want to do it and those who don't. Might even stop some of the arguing :)
 
Hasn't it been mentioned multiple times (by mods), that the hybrids aren't supported here?

Seeing as how they go against Sonys UAP.
 
I've just noticed that you mentioned you want to discuss 'how to' hack.

I wouldn't really say they support it. More like tolerate it. And as CargoRat has linked, there is already a hybrid forum.

Maybe what you're asking is that the current threads discussing hybrids be moderated more efficiently? Or moved over to the Hybrid forums?

I think if they had wanted to do that it would have been done before now. I mean they're very quick to lock new and unnecessary threads on hybrids that discuss or raise the same arguments, so I think the way they moderate the forums in regards hybriding in GT5 is more than sufficient.

No, no I didn't mean I myself wanted to know how to hack.

I was just wondering if the 'how tos' were allowed in the Hybriding section (seeing as how they're not permitted in any other part of the forum). But a quick skim told me that it's also not allowed in there.

I'm one of those people who won't be associated with hybrids whatsoever.

I was proposing it so people can discuss their particular cars rather than how to hack the system. Personally I won't have anything to do with the hybrids. I thought it was probably just as specialised as photomode so deserved a section of it's own. The non specific hybrid section is probably enough if people use it.

My revised answer then, would be that the Hybriding section (linked by CargoRat) is essentially what you were proposing anyway. ;)

Forgive me, but didn't you create a thread right here looking to borrow one of the 100k hp X1's?

Anyways, as stated, it's not supported here, and is now a bannable offense to GT5's online access. Of course, with some minor leeway, such as painting cars, but who knows how long they'll even let that slide. There's another site that does allow full discussion, but I'll leave you and google to figure that one out. 👍

I detest hybriding - but if I can milk the idea once or twice (without doing it myself), then why the frick not?
For e.g, I will point blank never even think about attempting to hack or mod any game. However, if you tell me I can get a maxed out wallet in 5 minutes, just by borrowing a hybrid - bring it on. 👍

So...try again with your post searching.

You can't say this, "I'm one of those people who won't be associated with hybrids whatsoever" and then come up with an excuse for using a hybrid. You came off holier than tho and then when you get called out, you come up with an excuse. Its alright my friend, we all been there at one point or another. Just admit you don't mind the hybrids (since you used one) and be done with it. No one will think any less of you. :lol:

I'm not trying to make excuses - although maybe "never be associated with hybrids" was the wrong thing to say.

Let me revise my comment:

I will never be involved with hybriding/modding. But, if I can milk the by-product a bit, then I will. ;)

Oh, and I never actually got a 'X100k', so I've actually never driven a hybrid whatsoever. :sly:

Not sure what you mean - perhaps you've misread the OP and the subsequent posts.

1. There already exists a Forum for what the OP is requesting.

2. He didn't mean the discussion of the "how" simply everything else that is NOT against the AUP.
