I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this problem:

I am unable to log into my GT5 My Home on gran-turismo.com. I keep receiving the "Unable to sign in to PlayStation®Network." error.

I am able to sign into the PSN on my PS3 and on the PSN official website. I am also using Firefox (latest version) as Internet Explorer just plain sucks and keeps returning a "missing URL parameter" error.

I just need to know if it's just me, or if anybody else is experiencing this error.

I try to log into my PSN and it says error ........ (80.......)

Do you have the full error code? Error 80...... lists about all errors but one. If you can give me the full error, I may be able to help you.

Just found out that the PS Blog is under maintenance. I do not know if it's supposed to be affecting the GT site.

Well, I got it to work in IE finally, only to have the same "Unable to sign in to PlayStation®Network" error. At least I got past the "missing URL parameter" error. lol

So it's not an issue with Firefox. I've tried all sorts of troubleshooting, but to no avail. I'll wait and try again later.

Sorry but I don't know the code. I was just killing zombies and didn't take much notice to the code. I am sure it will work for me in the morning.

Try manually signing in again. It should still give you the error code again.

Sorry but I wasn't able to and now I have to go to bed. :grumpy:

Oh well. Just give me the error code whenever you can, and I'll see if I can find out anything for you.

Anonymous again? I don't know.

I haven't even tried to sign, except on PSN via my PS3, which worked immediately.

Maybe. But I am able to log into my PSN account on my PS3 and the PSN official website. Also, a statement posted somewhere (don't remember where) said that Anonymous has agreed to cease all attacks on the PSN. So, I don't think it's them. But then again, it might be. Try signing in to the GT5 My Home on gran-turismo.com, if you can, please. I'd like to confirm this.

I can't log into my GT page from my computer.
I use Google chrome.

Same problem that has been popping up all week.
I had access for a short time a couple days ago after loosing access and it's gone again.

Here is what the message is.

Unable to sign in to PlayStation®Network.

Please check the official PlayStation®Network website for information regards maintenance or issues that may affect connection.

No error codes, though.

I say fix it or get rid of it, altogether.
I hope this has nothing to do with the widget, who cares how you get your credits, it's not like we get real money for finishing the game or having the most cars.
It's all in how you want to do it and what you tell yourself as I don't care what others do or have.
Just fix the damn thing!

And if it has to do with the widget, just move on PD or Sony or whoever,
Fix the game glithces and leave the cheats to the cheaters,
If they want to waste driving time to go in circles, so be it, their loss.

I have a feeling it has to do with changing the online service.
On April 1, 2011, Sony Computer
Entertainment America LLC ("SCEA")
will transfer its online services
operations, including your wallet
and the funds in it, to Sony Network
Entertainment America Inc. ("SNEA").
The first time you sign in to your
Sony Online Services account on or
after April 1, you will be asked to
enter into a new Terms of Service and
User Agreement with SNEA. If you do
not wish to enter into a contract with
SNEA, you may decline the terms of
service and we will close your account(s)
and return your funds. You can preview
the new Terms of Service and User
Agreement with SNEA at:

And here is the punch line of this bad joke.
PlayStation(R)Network will continue to
provide you with the highest standard
of interactive entertainment. Your
access to the best games, movies, TV
shows, music and friends will remain
intact. Thank you very much for being
part of the PlayStation(R)Network online
community! We look forward to continuing
to bring you the best in innovative
online entertainment!
Haha!

OK. So it's not just me. It's the only page I can't log into my PSN. There are so many reasons why it may not be working. Too many variables. Just have to wait and see if there's any official statement on this problem.

Internet Explorer seems to be the only browser that has problems logging in ("missing URL parameter") at all. It's something on the end of either Polyphony or Sony, so there's nothing we can do for now.

It wouldn't be quite as frustrating if it wouldn't tell me that it's unable to sign into the PSN and to check the official PSN website for information. I don't seem to have issues with the PSN, just with gran-turismo.com.

Same here. It also helps if there was a less generic error message. Not to mention that the PSN website says nothing at all about it. :dopey:

I tried to sign in and it didn't work either. I also tried to sign in on Rockstar's Social Club (it works the same way, connecting with your PSN account) and that did work, so I assume it has to do with Polyphony Digital.

I can't remember where, but I read that a major upgrade to the servers is due in the next 24 hours. (12/4/2011)

Sorry that I can't remember where. But it could be linked.

I can't log into my GT page from my computer.
I use Google chrome.

I have just signed into my GT5 homepage and can use the remote racing.

I don't know if clearing my cookies, temporary internet files, etc. helped or not but after a few more log in attempts I'm currently logged in.

I'm going to leave this page open as long as I can now!

I'll try it now. I also tried clearing my chache, browsing history, etc. It didn't work then.

EDIT: It works now. Thanks for your guys' help.
