please help me here guys, I've tried to start GT5 today several times but it gets stuck in the "Gran Turismo 5" logo screen, I've loaded other games and they're fine.
I might just add that I've movede the ps3 to the living room TV, and it was working perfectly, but now I'm back in my room in it doesn't load, WTF? :nervous:

correction: loaded, but it took forever, and it's taking a great while to begin working normally, what's wrong with my PS3? anyone?

Server issues, your not alone.

WiFi right? Try moving it around and check your signal strength. PS3 like very high signal strength

hmm got it! I thought that actually loading the game woudn't be affected by internet at all... it's taking soooooooo long to even load the yellow "arrow" on the game's main menu, I'm quite pissed off, tired of watching this damn SC430 all over :grumpy: thanks for the info though....

Mine did that too, I logged out of PSN and played offline.

Same problem here...50-50 it works and donst work.... It's a odd problem! Was fine b4 the newest update.

is it fixed yet? anyone knows?

I wouldn't ask that until a new update comes in GT5, so I guess you can keep checking the news section on here for that. But, have you tried clearing your cache?

of course, but if it really is server problem, it woudn't need a new update would it? and no, I haven't tried it yet, do I do it ingame? because it takes so long to load it, I don't even get to gt life page anymore...

Try starting up GT5 without being on PSN and then logging on to PSN after you reach the main start-up screen to see if it helps out a bit. Emptying your cache is in the options screen at the very bottom under "Network"
