GT5 Online/Update questions

I really want to be able to go onilne and do GT5 stuff on my browser at work, but when I logged into the website, it told me that I have to log into the online features on my PS3's GT5. I went home and tried to do that and I couldn't even locate anything to log me in. Am I missing something?

Also, normally my games just update when I restart my PS3, but I haven't gotten a single update for GT5 yet. I restarted 1.5 hours ago when I was home for lunch and no update came.

These are probably really stupid questions...but I am still hoping I can get some help. Thanks!
 
Well, the online at work part- yeah the page login seems to be not working correctly. Probably due to high demand since the front page story.
As for no game updates, Are you sure your logged into playstation network?
Can you go to the lobby and see the rooms?
I have had a couple updates already, as I think everyone has.
 
The features you are referring to have not been enabled yet. You will be able to do B-Spec races from the browser when that feature goes live.
