Hi guys,

I wasnt able to use my ps3 for about 2 months so after returning home and switching on my ps3 and gt5 p it asked me to update again. so i click on yes but first things that comes up is "The date and time are not set correctly. Please check date and time settings."

but i can click on "OK" and can proceed to the downloading screen. It downloads the update for lets say 10-15% and then the message "An error occurred during the download." come up.

Did you guys experience the same problem? What kind i do to solve that problem?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Hi,

"Update" + "problem" in the search field will lead to dozens of related threads.

I'm surprised you mention downloading issues at this time as I thought the hours (in some cases) needed for getting the files was due to too many simultaneous servers request.

Patience is your friend there.

Ok thanks guys,

I did use the search function but not in the right way as i just saw. right now i got like 45% and hasnt stopped yet. so maybe on this run i'll get the update.

Thanks!

Chris

I would suggest to check time and settings again.
Go to Internet options from the PS3 and make new connection.
But if you say it took you to 15 % and it crash, don't worry, once you start those 15% are there but just not visible on the bar, so once your data reaches 75% it will stop and finish with the DL.
If So I would Delete GT5P files, Because I remeber I got new HDD, so no GT5 files on it, when I Started the game, it took, me 15 minutes to DL patch from SPEC I to Spec II. You might try this as well, but you will loose your current patch progress.

Another thing, go to in game GT5P options and go to Network settings, And I think it was called delete cache or something like that. That helped me with newest DL.
