Hi guys, I know I have not had too many posts here but I wanted to ask if some kind members here would help me rebuild the collection of cars I just lost. I would like to tell you this and maybe someone from PD will read this and realize how much of a problem the online situation has become.
This evening I was just enjoying some time lapping the Nurburgring on a track day server. I decided to leave to find some clean races, and when I tried to leave the room the game froze, or so I thought, I waited a few minutes and nothing happened, so I hit the PS button and selected to quit out of the game. My PS3 restarted itself and when I got it back up it showed that the game data was corrupted. I was devastated when I saw this as I recently had not been keeping up the practice of saving my data. The last time I had backed the data up was on June 29th.
After I copied the data back over I realized that all was not lost. I did lose just over 400 cars and was only about 10 cars away from the 1000 trophy I had been working so hard to get. Thankfully I had not purchased many of the more expensive LMP and Group C race cars as they had not shown up yet.
I am restarting my garage list on gt5cars.net I was also asking to see if some generous people who have no use for cars if they would please send me any thing they have that I am missing. I do have a second account that was used for saving my tickets as well as gold chromes so if I can interest you with those then I would gladly do so for any car that I am missing.
Moving on from this I am now going to make sure that I will back up the game every day and pray that this will never happen again. I am also sorry if this was quite long winded but I wanted to get my point across and I wanted to give the whole story. Also don't feel obligated to give anything up that you don't want to, I just want to see if I can find some people that will help me rebuild this collection.
