It's a known fact that PD has shift focus and attention to GT6. So I was playing GT5 and notice the only GT tuned car from Prolog that made it to GT5 was the Ford GT. Why can't they just give us the GT tuned car from Prolog as a DLC? It's not like they have to swap the Toyota logo for a Subaru. The program is already there for the cars and I wouldnt mind driving the tuned Z06 or Viper in the tuned series on A spec.

What do you mean? You saying they only put the Ford gt in gt5 from prologue? Sorry confused

In the prologue, there were many cars under the "GT" title in the dealership. These were all tuned versions of normal cars. Of the cars in that dealership, only the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car has been put in the game, leaving a tuned lancer, corvette, and many others back in the prologue.

Im talking about the Gran Turismo Tuned cars. The only tuned car to make it from Prolog to the GT5 was the Ford GT Tune Spec 2. There was also a Tuned Corvette, Tuned Viper, Tuned Evo, so on and so forth.

Exactly. I wish they would just include those cars into the GT dealership for GT5. Something new to do try for a while.

I have a feeling that this is PD's final life line before they run out of new content to add to GT5.

Quite possibly, yes. That, and possibly all the tracks that were left out.. I'm hoping..

Im just trying to be realistic here. They've been giving us rehash of the "same" cars. If they are going to do that, at least give us something thats more interesting to drive and varied instead of more GTR. Very little effort here on their part

I just wish we can get some more tracks. I really miss Mid-Field :(

Agreed. Midfield, apricot hill, complex string, SSR11, Seoul, El Capitan, Swiss Alps, Smokey mountains, Tahiti, Grand Canyon, Motorland, Old Test Course, Old Fuji, all those new street tracks like New York and George V and Opera.. What happened to all of those?

Oh ok... Yeah because the gran-turismo 350rs is actually a amuse/opera performance gran-turismo 350rs. I have no clue why they didn't keep its true name

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX Tuned is Lancer Evo IX RM;
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Tuned is Lancer Evo X TC;
Chevrolet Corvette Tuned is Corvette RM;
Cappucino Tuned is Cappucino RM;
350RS is 350Z Tuned;
Tuned Viper and a few others aren't used... yet, they could be saving them for dlc but it's been almost 2 years since the game came out, I doubt they withdrew 'em from the game for that reason.

PS. I prefered Tuned cars to RM.

Someone should bring this up to the tuning forum, maybe for replication or something. I'm a bit pre occupied at the moment and i haven't owned or played GT5P... so it's out of the question for me as far as i'm concerned.

Not exactly.

The Lancer Evo X TC is a completely different machine than the Tuned version of the base car. Whereas the tuned car has a GT-style spoiler and bodykit, the Touring Car version is modeled as a rally car.

The Corvette Z06 Tuned Car adds a front chin spoiler, a rear diffuser, and a GT-wing, which are all available from GT Auto. The RM version looks damn similar to the C6.R from Pratt & Miller.

The Cappuccino RM is, however a copy of the Tuned Car, albeit with some fancy stickers on it.

I miss the Tuned Viper, Skyline, and the Kandabashi unmarked bonkers '99 tuned Cappuccino, and agree that it's a damn shame that they, or for that matter any of the Tuned Cars didn't make it to the final product.

I also liked the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car in prologue better than that one in 5, because to me, it's exhaust note was annoying but sounded better than someone vomiting loud enough for the whole arena to hear him.

Agreed. THe Corvette tuned was pretty darn close to the Corvette C6R. And I really miss the Viper tuned.

I agree. Why did PD get rid of those cars? I've been wondering this since I first got GT5 and the closest I could get to actually having them is tuning the stock versions and giving them the same body kits.

It's wierd that they're not in the game too since they were featured in the first GT5 trailer.

There's a possible chance that they are normal cars just with spoilers. Possible chance.

I'd think so, except the colors of both the Corvette and Viper are spot on with colors offered for each of the cars in the Prologue.

Yeah, it could be that.

Also, there were NASCARs in this trailer that didn't make it into the final game as well. I wonder why Kaz had those cars removed before release.

I thought this too. I wouldn't be suprised if the ACR is a re-skined Viper-Tuned. The looks between the GT5P and the GT5 counterparts are different, but I bet that they're physically the same car. I wonder if we'll see the Clio tuned again.

If anyone has the gt5p disk we can remake them on GT5. All they are is a tuned up version of the stock version.

I have the GT5P disc but I need to install it though.

Edit 1: I've re-installed it, but I would've needed Spec III to use the tuning menu. Sorry.

This thread got me playing Prologue again, just to refresh my memory!
I've managed to make a reasonable replica of the Skyline Coupe Tuned Model by using the 370GT Type SP, although the wheels aren't available in the correct style for a full recreation. (They are however for the Infiniti G35, but the wing doesn't match up) Also the bodykit parts are body coloured, whereas the Prologue model is black, the hood's wrong and the grill too but this is the closest match I can make with it.

Nissan Skyline Coupe 370GT in Vibrant Red (C), Motegi Racing Touge wheels, (painted in a light grey of forgotten origin) Front Aero type A, Rear Aero type B

You can also make a reasonable representation of the SRT10 using the same car in GT5, I think the wheels are slightly different, (I use American Racing Vintage Torq Thrust, painted in whatever the darkest black I have at the time is) and the struts for the front aero are missing, but other than that it's pretty much there. All aero mods and carbon hood.
(Haven't got the photo off my system yet, so for now you'll just have to take my word for it)

Sorry, but the ACR is a real car, while the Viper Tuned is not. They probably didn't have time/rights to the ACR at that time, and made a replica called a Viper tuned, then got rights/found time to model a real one for GT5.

I like your name though, my home state still has its pride..
