GT5 Prologue BUG?

Hi all,

Well sometime in the middle of the racing my controller freezes for a aprox 5 to 10 seconds, every button stops functioning, no brakes, no steering, no nothing except for my car goes straight off the track. This is fustruating as sometime I'm about to run a good lap or worst of all running for a record lap. I'm still using my PS3 SIXAXIS controller while I'm waiting for my Logitech G25 to arrive soon..

Anyway does anybody have the same problem with the controller that freezes in the middle racing? Is this a gameplay bug? I don't have this problem playing other games..
 
Its the problem with few other PS3 games and the sixaxis.. best option is you get a wheel.
It did not happen form me for a long time now.
 
Same problem. Battery is getting low, plug it in.
 
Or try re-syncing the controller, or get rid of potential interferences. But charge it first!
 
my sixaxis has done that periodically on all my games. is your ps3 a launch console. i've read that they have fixed the problem in the newer editions.
 
I have a launch console, and it does it to me too. It doesn't do it very often, I didn't even notice it until I got GT5P and would play it for a long time. If you have your controller plugged into your PS3 it won't happen. It has something to do with losing the signal from your controller.
 
I have a launch console and I've never suffered from this problem, (thankfully). I now use a G25 wheel that improves handling many times over.

My PS3 is the 60 gig version and as I've said I've never experienced this problem with other games, the controller freezes ONLY in the GT5 Prologue, NOT other games I play...

Yes but like everyone already said it is a problem with your ps3 not GT5. It rarely happens to me and I only ever got it in COD4.
 
I don't have a ps3 or GT5, but this sounds like a problem with the signal if it's wireless, or the battery may be low.

And welcome to GTP by the way. :)
 
Never experienced it.. My bet's on a fault in the controller
 
this happened to me on other games. buttons go dead for a sec or two (fully charged) or one of the analog sticks gets "stuck". id just say its the controller and not the ps3 itself or the game
