Hi GTplanet,

I just purchased GT5 Prologue from play asia (Great Service), the games runs ok but i have no colour its all black & white. I dont have any problems with my other games only the GT5 Prologue import version. I am running a standard TV (PAL) & using the RCA leads that come with the PS3. I have had a look at the translations for GT5 Prologue on the forum & i cant seem to find the option for resolution settings in game. I am not sure if its a game setting, PS3 setting or TV setting that i need to change.

Hope someone can help.

Had the same problem .
Took my PS3 round to my brothers to show off GT5P and had the same issue you have. Not sure but i think it's because you're using an standard tv ( SD and not HD ).

so ithink your only option is to invest in a HDTV

You DO know you are feeding NTSC signal to your PAL tv right?

Hi, i'm new here. GT5Prologue has been running fine on my CRT TV. I guess it has something to do with your TV not supporting NTSC input. But, i could be wrong here.:nervous:

I am having the same problem with GT5 Prologue demo. But when I got it first it worked fine. I dont know if i changed something or if a system update caused it.

I believe I know what the problem is now. It is that most of the older tvs dont support NTSC fully. But some of the newer CRT ones do support both.

Most UK bought SD TV's are not multi system so they wont take an NTSC SD signal. More expensive ones do however have this ability. They only other thing if your TV does support is that the TV is not auto detecting the change in which case you would have to manually set it on the TV.

This happened once to me, I put in an NTSC COD4 and it came up all black and purple on my screen. Just selected the the channel again and it was fine (the TV missed the input change!).
