Well it's been 10 races now and i'm already sick of online racing, endless morons that just ram you just because you have a faster car, people that can't actually drive to save their lives, people picking fast cars then sending me abuse via the XMB saying im gay and whatnot because I dared to beat their 'supramegawatt subaru XIXIIX' in a race...

Marvellous community of GT racers already I see.

just wait until tomorrow when i get my ps3 ... i'll show you how it's done properly! :D

Just the same as when the Jpn version went on line. Only this time there's a hell of alot more now.
And I guess it's going to get worse before it gets better too.

They should bring out a special version for those...

"GT5 Moron Version Extended Edition Dumspec II"

After a couple of weeks it probably cools down and you did have already some superb races!

Can be frustrating if someone with a suzuki swift beats an impreza :sly:

Don't lay your attention on those childish fellows, prepare for the better I'm sure GT5: Prologue will meet better times in the future.

When the Japanese Version's online feature first became available, it was pretty nasty driving too. Everyone was trying it out.
I'm sure that's similar case here.

I still go online to play. And lately I've seen some good racers online. So I think this is just a phase. New release, everyone wants to try it out.

As the time passes, the real enthusiusts will remain online and you will start to get better races. Those idiots crashing people in online races will get bored and eventually move on to other games.

Just wondering if there is auto catchup on Online Race because i've been miles ahead before and the 2nd place racer has covered a gap of about 13 seconds in almost 4 seconds, what's up with that?

Were you playing in professional physics?

seemes like it's EU online rammer list is forming here :P let me contribute:

Chaengis -kept ramming me and other racers, we where neck-and-neck towards the finish line, he rams me into a wall -_-' Drives a Red Tuned evo X

Things should be better in the difficult races, at least that's my exprerience with the japanese Prologue version until now. I haven't finished all EU-version A-events yet, so no experience yet, but with the easy online races: What a party! :(

I have tried High Speed Ring and Daytona so far.

High Speed Ring was okey because everyone missed me :)
But, Daytona, I don't even want to comment about it. Endless ramming.

Yeah go for he hard rces and the skill matching should leave the idiots playing together whilst the rest of us can get on with some racing. You get it in all racing games till things settle in

Has anybody noticed how cars are placed in the starting grid? It seems the slow cars start in front followed by the faster cars.

I REALLY ****ING hate it when low lifes ram you off the track its like every corner turns into a minefield, I just wish PD made the online races with no contact between the cars.

If someone rams me I ram them back, so how they ****ing like it.

as mentioned, as soon as your skill level goes up you wont, or shouldnt be matched with the losers..!!

will just take a little time to even out.

The FD crew havent gotten bored of crashing people then exiting right as first place guy gets to the finish.

Roll on private rooms update then, let the FD crew play with themselves LOL

Yeah for real. I didn't notice them last night until it was too late. I will be keeping an eye out for them and I will not hesitate to exit if I see one of them on.

stick them on your "block player" list if the matchmaking is working it should start to filter them out of games you enter. In fact theres a black list on this forum for doing just that, if you know these guys PSN tags then post them in there with a brief explination of why and we can all avoid them!

That sucks. I plan to be up and running GT5:P online in less than a week and I would enjoy it if I could race against some honest racers.

this thread is painful to read!! LOL

what can you expect though? there will ALWAYS be nuB's... i just hope online play evolves and allows either people to host their own races, or atleast a "vote kick/ban" a bad player(s)...

"P.D. can ya hear mehhh?!" =P
