GT5 Prologue UK Website Countdown

Hi guys and girls

This is my first post on here after visiting this site for a few weeks I'm really looking forward to the release of GT5P here in the uk on 28th March 2008. I was expecting a countdown on the UK website indicating that this is still the case but was surprised this morning to see no such thing happening. Hhhmm I do hope we are still on target for the 28th.

I do not currently own a PS3 but it was my birthday yesterday and I asked for money so I can put it towards a PS3 as soon as the game comes out.

I already have a DFP steering wheel but I'm sure that Logitech will update the G25 like they have done with the DFP with the brake bias and tractio control adjustment controls - I think they are bound to anyway so I'll hold on for a few months to se what happens there.

I love the hi def screen shots on this website but have not seen that many hi-def screen shots posted from users on the forum - or am i not looking in the right place?

Is it worth me buying a PS3 now and aquirring GT5P off ebay or somthing?

As I'm from the UK and I'm 35 years old I'd like to see some of the classic hot hatches from when I was younger in the full release of the game like...

Ford escort RS2000 & Mexico varients
Ford Escort RS Turbo MK1 & 2

Focus RS - I owned one of these last year - Amazing car.

Ford capri 3.0 S, 2.8 injection - you can pretend you are in The Proffesionals then whilst you are sideways around each bend.

Vauxhall Nova SR, SRI, GTE & GSI varients

there has got to be a mclare F1 in the game and a Veyron would be nice.

Great list, it would be nice to see those cars make it in. From memory of past GT series games the Golf MK1 and MK4 GTI and R32 made it in - so I'd be failry confident they'll in the full release of GT5, not GT5P.

Without turning this into a wish list it would be nice to see some of those models make it into the final game, like you most of those cars i grew up around too, by the time GT5 comes around the new focus RS maybe out, would be cool to see that in there also.
