Right now, GT5 has many new features, and GTP has designated forums for them. However, it is missing an old-fashioned race report forum! If you want an example of what one is like, you can go to the GT4 forum. Let's make this happen!
 
I think this would be a great idea - if there were more people doing race reports. However, a subforum would almost definitely increase the number of race reports, so I'm all for it. 👍
 
I think most people aren't doing race reports yet because there's no subforum for them. So a big +1 to this. :D
 
As this is requesting a change to the forums and not a GT5 discussion, this thread is moved to the Site Feedback section where Jordan will actually see it as opposed to it being buried 4 pages back within 18 minutes and lost...
 
A petition won't help at all. Jordan will make one or not. His choice.
 
And, he said he will - just doesn't have the time at the moment. Probably doing other stuff. I you want to do a race report - start it in the GT4 Forum and get it moved when the GT5 one comes out (I remember a mod saying that, so I guess everyone has permission :lol:)

Intentionally posting something in the wrong place? Um... no. Don't do that.

My suggestion - write up your report in *InsertProgramOfChoiceHere*, save it and then be patient until Jordan has time to create said sub-forum.

I can't think of any place that would be particularly appropriate, unless you wante to use the GT4 race report subforum as a placeholder. A moderator would be able to move your thread to the relevant GT5 subforum if and when it gets created.

I was meaning what Interludes said, like a placeholder. And when it comes out, we get it moved 💡
 
People are making reports in the regular GT5 section and will probably be moved when the new section comes.

You're welcome, guys, enjoy. Also, don't forget that you can move any of your relevant threads into the new forum - just use the "Thread Tools" menu in the red bar at the top of the page.

I'm just kinda dissapointed that the first report was three sentences long and had half a dozen spelling mistakes 👎:irked:.
 
Just give it time, I doubt anyone has one written up. Speaking of which, I need to revisit a long forgotten Word document and finish a paragraph or two.
