Would anyone be interested in helping create this? I've left it open for everyone to edit.

It could become a great reference for:

  • Seeing what cars are worth upgrading
  • Finding cars for particular races
  • Configuring your car before you spend the cash
  • Sorting all the cars by characteristic

I've created a second sheet for tuning as well, but that's not ready. I'd love to be able to go online and find my car's best setup for the race I need to run.

This is actually a good idea, why is nobody supporting this?

Great idea, especially the tune one when you get it going. I was hoping that PD would include some kind of online tune library in GT5, where we could upload/download our own & others tunes, but they seem to be lacking in genuine innovation these days.

👍

Hi, i Like this idea. Great i just restarted on a new account and want to collect all the cars there totally stock no miles on them. I'll drive the stealth cars for money. Hope I can help this list 2 completion.

looks like your sheet has been compromised....

Thanks, I've reverted it back to the last working version. I wish I had more time to fill it in myself.

Hey this is a great idea. It's going to be tough to keep the idiots from ruining it at every turn.

I'll add what I can when I can.

That is cool. I hope you get a tune Spread Sheet also. I'll fill out the first line AC car when I get a chance. It will be tough to regulate this sheet though.

Dude thats an awesome data base if you finish it post it up and hopefully you will get a sticky cause this will help alot of people when buying cars

It looks really good and its a good idea but to do this 1000 and something cars is a bit much.

I think the used car price is based on a linear formula correlated with mileage.

That makes sense. There should be something to mark the used prices as estimates.

Wow, MyGranTurismo.net is a net source for info and can be a great tool. hopefully more info can be added like all the spec when a car is fulled modified. For instance, I'm looking to get a car to compete with ZR1 Rm. That's how I stumbled on this thread and to mygranturismo.net

To start I know I need a car as light as the ZR1 rm, so 1100kg and probably with 750 Hp at least. I want a car to handle tight courses better. The ZR1 understeers and since there is a lack of adjustment in GT5, I can't get it any better.

I really hope they continue with patches to fix GT5 and keep making it better. I really want air pressure adjustments for tires. And I don't feel that the suspension adjustments do as much as they should in gt5. In GT4 i would get crazy with tire pressures and adding weight etc to help with quirks on a given car. I miss that flexibility in GT5. I hope mygranturismo.net keeps building and is successful. This and the data base were good ideas.

Is there a place with comprehensive info like this one? If not, this may be a good place to start. I'll be good to know how much each component puts up for each car.
