GT5 Region problem.

Well I think I have a problem, and cant figure out who to ask.

I live in the mid east and bought my gt5 disc there when it came out in 2010.

A few months agp, due to personal reasons, Ive had to shift my country of residence, to India to be specific. Now, India obviously is a different region from the mid-east.

What I want to do is purchase the new DLC. But since I now reside in a different place, my billing address is different. But my disc is of another country. If i enter my new credit card details in the mid-east store account that i have, it wont allow me because of my different region.

How can i get the DLC? Will buying a CD of the region im in, recognise the memory save of the disc of the old country i was in?

Have you tried?

Alternatively, make a new Master Account on your console from your new location and add funds to the wallet on that account. Every other Master Account on your console - even your old, "mid-east" one - will be able to buy PS Store content from that wallet.

You need to buy the DLC from the same region store as your disc. How this works in Asia I don't know (isn't it all PAL?), but I'd imagine it's the same country as the language options on your disc.
 
Finally an answer that makes sense. So what your saying mate is,
I make a new master account, and add funds to it. These funds will be shared by all other master accounts? irrespective of currency and things like that?

One thing I'm not sure about is which account the PS3 classes as a "Master Account" - I've got several, but only the first one is classed as the console's admin account to which funds can be added. I'm sure there's a way to change that, but I haven't looked into it.
 
hmm. what if get a new gt5 disc from the region im in. Will it recognise my old game save? But thats not a very economical idea.
What else would you suggest?
