GT5 Replay Question

Hi guys new here so be nice :P

Just wondering, when u view a REPLAY of your race, and you press the TRIANGLE button to zoom in. Is it normal to see like a blurry vision above the car and as the other cars drive into the camera they look all distorted?

I have a 1080p TV and a HDMI cable, its just a question i always wanted to know.. Thanks guys
 
Hi there. I haven't got an HDTV, mine is just a widescreen 480p Old PLASMA TV, connected with component cables.
I have the same vision as you do when pressing the triangle button to zoom in to the car.
I think this is normal as the camera is focusing on the car from a far distance, everything besides the object focused should be blurred, just the same as in real life. :)
 
Ahh ok.. so even the white shadow (almost like a bubble) on the roof is normal 2?

Also i hope they fix the AA in it. for the shadows etc. once they fix that it will be even MORE AMAZING!!!! who agrees?

Yup! The AA (specially on those panel lines) and shadows still need some tweaking. On replays (Suzuka) you can clearly see transitions from non-shadow to shadow which look very unnatural.

I believe that the "white shadow" you refer to must be the sun glare over the roof, right?

Anyhow, it is still a very visually impresive game! I look forward to seeing what PD can do for the final version of GT5! 👍
