Gt5 running slow?

Don't know if this is just me but gt5 has been running extremely slow when I'm signed in like I've been sitting here for at least 15 minutes just waiting for it to open the news list. Is there any way to fix this? I know it's not my Internet connection because other game work fine, please help me, thanks
 
Have you emptied your cache via the options menu? if so exit GT5 & sign out of PSN then try again but if not do so & see how it goes after that :)

Also sign out your PSN but don't quit the game then sign back in.

Settings (the gear icon) -> Network... at the bottom of the list -> Clear Cache

There isn't anything in network that says clear cache? All the is is
Settings and connection status list
Internet connection
Internet connection settings
Internet connection test
Media server connection
 
Internet connections have not been been working correctly for some regions of the planet since PSN shut down on thursday.

GT5s number of connections for the game has been effected this means only a limited number of users can get online for GT5.
After that point instead of saying network full.
The game just sits theres trying to get a connection.
But never will.
This has been applified buy changes in security of PSN. ( so users could deactivate their dead consoles )

UK is one Country Were The connections are not given priority or boosted in fact they are crippled. This is even more likely IF you are a VM cable subscriber were they use Cheaper "Third party" internet back back bone to connect to GT5 servers.
