GT5 Savegames & garage

hello ,
i have a little problem with gt5 , i had a carreer on my old ps3 wich doesn't read disks anymore . so i copied the savefile with ps+ to my new ps3 , the problem i'm having right now is that i dont have all my cars . only the cars of my first carreer on the old ps3 . is there a way i can merge these 2 garages somehow ? they're on the same psn account

None that I know of, Sir, and I believe there has been a concerted effort to figure out how to merge game saves. I'm happy to stand corrected, if someone has figured it out...

I understand that we can "reassign" savefiles using certain commercial software, but I've not seen a way to merge two files together.

A solution would be to create a second PSN account on your PS3, then reassign your old savefile to that account, and just gift the cars one per day every day from it to your main account. Any cars that cannot be gifted due to the 1mCR limit, you could just put them "on share" when you need them.
