Firstly I can not confirm my source for these.

Second I'd like to apologise if they are fake GT5 screenshots. I'm posting them to see if someone can confirm if they're fake. So far I have no reason to believe they are not real.

What reason do you have to believe that they are real?
 
They are from the same place as thoes pics of "Forza 2" in the Forza 2 topic in the XB360 thread that arn't from any game, it's part of a CG movie some guys have been working on for the last year or so.

But like I said I'm putting them on here to see if they are fake...

Yep, thats the name of the movie clip they're working on, I've been tracking their work recently, it's very impressive.

Also worth noting down, this clip is a street race and you can see the traffic on the roads goign in the opposite direction even.
 
There's one more image to upload and I'll post the link as soon as it's up. There are 4 images up now. Like I said, the main reason to believe they are GT5 screenshots is the name of the files.
 
this guy's work is totally amazing. Its crazy realistic. I sure hope he's got as much talent in 'video directing' tho, else it'll make all this look crappy at best.
 
That 300C is badly modelled, it has incorredt proportions and features, definitely not GT5.
 
Cant wait to mod that 'ped up to 1000bhp. That third pic is very lifelike, that will show all the Xbox 360 fanboyz.

Are you sure? Does it make sense? I don't think so. I can put GT5.jpg with a picture of off-subject, you know?
 
pah thats nothing!

thanks t the wonders of google i can now confirm that GT5 will actually be a frog/toad simulation. i myself am hoping they leave the toads out. if ppl want to race a toad they can go find another bloody game!

Ouch, don't say that. At least go trough the trouble of reading what others posted before you. This thing has nothing to do with PS3.

Still, I'd love a GT5 looking like that (car-wise, environments seem a bit empty and far less detailed).
 
I think rovens was being sarcastic.

And Nattefrost didn't mean GT5 had nothing to do with PS3, he meant these pics which you already know but someone won't realise that.

There is no need to be an arse daan. The images I found were actually called Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) 1.jpg not just GT5.jpg (I've already mentioned that in a post earlier). I may have been misslead about those images but you're just being pedantic.

Also I've been on the website www.cg-cars.com/forum and haven't found those 4 images there. That being said though, after looking at the rendered images on that site I can see how it's probable these screenshots are not GT5 but just some rendered images of 3D cars.

Well it was worth checking.:)
 
They are screens from the project being worked on in that link, they're older, the car models have been updated detail wise and the cars colours have been changed a few times. That link doesn't start at the projects beginning, but if you check up on it you'll find other links and more info on the project, it's great stuff.

No need for that. I was only pointing out the major flaw in your it-has-gt5-and-ps3-in-the-filename-therfore-it-must-be-true logic.
