GT5: Side views head cam module.

Dear Sir,

I met up with an engineer who designs racing simulators. He had Forza running and had a head unit (just a sensor on a cap). And then a little module on top of the screen.


Okay.... In GT5 PRO and Forza it allows you to view left and right when your IN THE COCKPIT VIEW. In addition it allows you to see all the angles within that movement.

Basically, this guy was moving his head left and right SLIGHTLY and in accordance so was the view in the game.

It was a USB MOD.

IM SURE THIS CAN BE MADE TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE GRAN TURISMO SERIES!!!!!

THIS COULD BE REVOLUTIONARY!!!

Something called TrackIR Pro, perhaps? The must have kit for every fanatic flight simmer.
 
I would buy this if it were reasonably priced. I'd prefer something more practical though, like the Playstation Eye tracking either facial movement or at worst a couple reflectors on a hat or headset or something.

Can side-to-side looking in GT5:P even be analog-controlled without additional PD programming? My G25's D-pad looks full left or full right.
 
Dear Sir,

It can be analogue. I have tried it with the ps3 pad. This is why I am certain you can analogue it in the sense with the head cam.
