GT5 Sound issue

Since the latest update 2.07 (?) I've got problems with the in-game sound effects.

I'm always driving with the bumpercam or cockpit, but only in chase cam I will hear my engine, in the bumpercam and cockpit view it's like driving with a Tesla Roadster. Silence.

I already deleted my tempory files from the options menu and I'm thinking of delete the whole game, but than I will loose all my updates/firmwares ?

When I make a back-up, I'm worried that the sound-issue would be copied also ?
 
PD decided to reduce certain sound effects on each camera I think. Thats all I know.
 
Several in my group have reported loss of tyre sound while playing online and have to quit and rejoin
 
There has been alot of these threads that I've seen over the past few weeks, there isn't anything you can do about it unfortunately :( re-downloading your data is not gonna help :( .. The best results I had was by changing my surround sound to dynamic mode with 7.1 Dolby and increasing the bass and decreasing the Mid's.. What kind of cars are you having the problem with?
 
Almost every car, this mrning I tried again with the PDI Racing Kart... same problem !
But funny enough, Thursday I had an online race on the Nordschleife and in online-modus I didn't had that problem ?

Also with the Seasonal event with the Ferrari Formula1 car, no sound in cockpit and bumpercam. I can't imagine that PD made this update. If they, they murded my racing experience :(
 
Can you show me some topics ? Didn't find them, otherwise I wouldn't make a new topic of this issue. There's one + : I'm not the only one :indiff:
 
I did the 530pp 4WD seasonal earlier today, had several races, I did not have any problem with my own car sound, I used cockpit view, other cars do sound quite loud when they were around me, but my car can still be heard - A gallardo. My sound setting : 5.1 DTS, Large Theatre, sound volume at 55, music 120. When online, sound do disappeared at times, but mostly due to network issues - bad connections/lag.

Try to use TV sound via HDMI or if you have home theatre, use DTS/ DD format.
 
I have the same problem too & discussed it in another thread. Hopefully an update will fix this. Things were fine before the update.
