GT5 stoped working, update due?

trying to load GT5 here in the UK, get the following error message

Registration of the trophy information could not be completed. The game will quit (8002291A)

tried resyncing the trophys in the XMB which worked but GT5 still won't load....gets past the HDD saving message then GT5 logo apears, it "freezes" for 30 seconds then this message apears.

Is there an update about to land which is causing this or is it just happeniong on my machine, I'll go sighn out and try to load it offline.

OK turned facebook functions off.....no change, pulled the internet conection out the back of the PS3 and the game loads normaly!!!!

Anyone else got this problem?

Final bit of info, load game as normal whilst sighned out, then sighn back into PSN whilst in the game, GT5 continues to play normaly but it says "no acess to servers" whenever an online component is selected in the game..........I think the patch is about to hit guys.

hope , that is a new update , but at work , couldnt check it out , ill try to enter tonight as usually.
 
ill have a look at lunch if nobody has solved it before then (which im sure they will have)

Mine works fine.
 
i had this problem yesterday at about 8pm. Quit the game a nd it was back to normal again.
 
OK weiredness, it's working again. sorry, had visions of losing my saved progress!
