GT5 stuck

Two minutes ago i finished a race. clicked exit to go back to the main gt5 life screen. and its stuck! it wont come out and i see the logo on the screen for like 5 minutes now..how do i make it continue?
i want it to save what i just did..

I get that a lot. I quit the game every time. It happened the other day after getting gold on a licence. I restarted the game and it had saved it.

Ps. Not saying it will be the same for you mate. That's just my experience of it.

Most of the time when it happens to me, it's because my internet has stopped working. Disconnecting the PS3 from the internet gets it unstuck.

Mine used to do it a lot, in the end I had to buy another disc! Still does it from time to time though.

One of the last couple of updates must have fixed it because I was surprised to see it saved after freezing up and having to quit the game. It wasn't like that a few months ago. I'm glad that it saves after freezing up.

From my latest experience it saves the game and most likely money for a new controller lol.

Oh yes indeed. Especially after getting multiple cars dialed in was very frustrating.

Keep you cache cleared, keep yor disc clean, and run a blu-ray cleaner through your ps3 once a week. Preferably the brushless one (has 2 holes in it and creates a wind tunnel effect, cleaning the lens) made by memorex. You might need to take your ps3 apart and clean the lens with alcohol if it has never been cleaned. Also, if you smoke, this will create a film on the lens inside. There are two lens inside your ps3 btw, the smaller one is the blu-ray. Hope this helps everyone. 99% of all problems are caused by dirt, dust, debris.

This has been occurring with me alot since the last two updates. Usually happens when I exit a race after online Aspec challenges.

A tip: press eject button rather than hard reset of the console. Less risk of corrupting data in my opinion.

👍 I experienced it for the first time after 2.04 update. I actually left it on for almost an hour till I'm pissed and I just switch it off.
