I would like to share with you guys the wonderful experience I had today thanks to Nissan! I live in Bologna, Italy, where each year is hosted the "Motorshow", a gearheads fair more than a car expo.

This year Nissan was there with two GT Academy driving setup. They held a contest and the first 5 out of a lot of people could have the opportunity to have a hotlap (as a passenger) at the expo circuit (made up from a large parking lot) onto a Nissan supercar: 370Z, GT-R, Juke190HP and the mighty Juke-R driven by former F1 driver Tonio Liuzzi! I am proud to have won the 1st place on GT5 and had a blasting hotlap on both the 370Z (I have a video to share on gtplanet) and onto our loved\hated GT-R!

This is a promo clip of the event (unfortunately they're not showing the GT5 contest)

Great stuff man, that's freaking amazing!

Any links to more info on it? Cant believe they set this up, so cool!

Congrats on your great results btw too 👍

This is a link to Motorshow website, but the thing is, when you went to the show you found out that to access the Nissan R-days you had to be the man on GT5. How cool was that? Nobody knew it until they went at the actual place. For some it was a real pain in the ***, for others it was the coolest thing of the day:tup:👍👍

so, in that picture- are we at an actual racing circuit then?

VERY cool post btw. And what a classic Polyphony-type move, with no information on an event until the day of... lol

No, it's not a permanent circuit, it's only for the show (dec.5th-9th), it's very simple but really exciting! The GT-R takes your breath away while accelerating:crazy:

What course and car did you have to drive in the game?

If they only had that for the NY Auto Show...

It was a bit disappointing, but you had to race on HSR and, obviously, drive a GT-R Academy Edition. They decided that to give more opportunities to ppl not used to the game (HSR is an easy track and GT-R is a fair car if you know how to push it...). But eventually with a lot of virtual drivers there, the best came out over the rookies hehe...
