What do you use guys think it's better f1 on gt5 or f1 on f1 2011 would be really good if someone with these two games could give us the pros and cons about f1 in these two games ... What ones better

You're comparing apples to oranges.
F1 2011 is about all of F1.
GT5 is about everything else with 3 F1 cars that you can't really race against each other.
I think the answer to your question is obvious.

As I have said before, use periods.

A found that gt5 f1 was more fun playing then f1 2010, but 2011 it's ment to be much better then last year ....

I have both GT5 and F1 2011. As a previous user has said before me you are comparing a game which devotes itself to making 1 type of car to a game that devotes itself to making 1000 cars. The F1's in GT5 are second rate compared to F1 2011 but how many people do you see racing the F1's in GT5? Not many. In F1 2011 codemasters has put every little detail into each car and team. It is so realistic, like you are actually driving or watching if you watch your replays using the tv pod camera. In GT5 they are just another car that you can buy and drive. Yes, they may be specials ones to own but more people drive their road cars turned race cars or specific race cars adjusting setup to go faster. Yes this could be a good little battle but F1 and codemasters is only making one type of car, each teams is slightly different which they have done well aswell. GT and polyphony digital has to make/design 1000 or more cars to be realistic as possible, ranging from family cars to all out race cars. Cannot compare the two.

F1 2011 is better for a true f1 experience, with real drivers, cars, tracks, teams, sponsors, setup and race strategies. But after playing for an hour I get pretty bored with it. Graphically it doesn't compare to GT5 although the PC version is pretty decent, I'm not interested in buying a PC set up just to play F1 2011- other than that it's a pretty good game for F1 only guys.

GT 5's F10 and F2007 are pretty good and fun to play with but not as realistic as F1 2011 physics with that being said I spend up to four hours a day with GT5 and never seem to good bored with it as GT5 is all about cars and motor sports, no other PS3 racing title allows me to go from Le man, DTM, NASCAR,Rally,Karting, Super GT, F1 and consumer cars all in one game- being online with a bunch friends with a huge selection of cars and racing discipline's is the best!

I owned F1 2011 for a couple weeks- decent game, subpar graphics, and repeative game play, I would rather watch F1 in real life than play codemasters version of "living the life". GT5 is all about variety and because of that, it is king in my books

F1 2011 is good but gets too repetative too quickly, GT5's for me is the better game but I think really they both focus on 2 different things so hard to compare!

@G24 You don't understand CLEARLY what F1 2011 is about! F1 2011 is such a great game for effectively a one make(car) game. The difficulty is so hard! That is why it is good aswell as the graphics being very good. Graphically it DOES compare to GT5! In some cases on spa for example the F1 version is much better than on GT5. F1 2011 is about being a young talented driver trying to make it into the top formula category. Thats why you start out with an average team, then get contract offers to move to a better team and eventually win championships. The two games are completely different! I think that comparing these two brilliant games is a joke. They are both great, they are two different types of racing simulation. GT5 is about using your credits wisely to move up on the racing scale (hatchbacks to racecars), F1 2011 is about breaking into F1 and moving up to be the best and win championships, example Ayrton Senna.

Actually i clearly understand what F1 2011 is all about, if you actually read my post I do give it props for being a excellent F1 experience and of course they are completely different games and shouldn't be compared with each other! As i failed to mention I also owned F1 2010 played it and finished it, and to be honest I liked the driving aspect of the game I just didn't care for the rest of the experience, I bought 2011 on a whim expecting the graphics and gameplay to be up a notch, instead I got MASSIVE frame rate issues and ugly steering lag with my wheel verse GT5's smooth graphics and controls!
The PC version on the other hand is very good, but I wouldn't buy a PC just to play F1 2011. I traded my version in and used the money towards a TM Ferrari F1 rim for my wheel, as my F10, F2007, and RB X1 are my most driven cars and although not as realistic as 2011 the fun factor is there.
Not having to swap out disc's, re-logging in, having to find my online friends, purchase a premium pass, deal with frame rate issues, steering lag, and having great choice of cars and racing discipline's is priceless to me, that's why GT5 is king in my books

Steering lag?!? After all the complaints about 2010 I thought for sure they would have fixed that. That is the one thing that finally made me set the game to "will never play again" status, it was so atrocious. Other than that I found it enjoyable with some irritating problems. I had been told the steering/gas/brake lag seemed better in 2011 along with the wacky AI pace so I was actually considering getting it at some point. I'm not too fussy about shiny graphics and I liked so much else about the game: proper race weekends, changing teams, rivals, R&D, designed for longer races, etc. Now you've ruined it for me. :)

A plea to all game developers in the world: ANY noticeable input lag in any game that is not clearly based on the time it takes for your avatar to execute the action is 100% unacceptable, period. Just STOP. Fix it or don't release it.

I had a quick go on my brother's PS3 version and enjoyed it, although most if not all the aids were on!

Would I compare it with GT5 though? No, not really, it's a different type of game. I enjoy both the real and the 'designed' tracks of GT5, the car choice, the tuning and the photgraphy. F1 2011 has better replays that you can scrub backwards & forwards, it has qualifying and a good few tracks you wouldn't otherwise be able to enjoy. I won't be buying it though, even though it's probably the only way I could race against my brother online (he has GT5 but never really got into it) because I enjoy the variety of GT5 world, and if I'm getting the wheel out, this is what I'm playing.

F1 2010 and F1 2011 I have down the toilet the first time! 👎

It's supposed to go in your PS3, not the toilet.

They are both good as i have both. F1 has the best weather system i've ever seen. GT5 focuses on other cars, but the AI is TERRIBLE! GT5 and F1 have their bugs aswell, for example: In F1 sometimes you can't leave the pits during a race. In GT5 you should remember the stupid "money glitch". But againg they're both good.

Money glitch? Whats that?

If you're enthusiastic at Formula cars with no interest in other types of cars of a different shape, the F1 2011 would plainly be better for you and so am I. But considering the brilliant quality of graphics and many other features adopted in GT5, it would be appropriate for me to admit that GT5 is a better game than F1 2011 as long as it focuses on various cars of versatility.

>noisiaturismo
It's impossible to compare those two games as the two deal with completely different stuff without any connection to each other, a variety of factors will have to be involved or pondered to estimate which one is precisely better than the other.

wtf is with this steering lag and frame rate issues. My copy has none of that. In my view codemasters has done a better job at spa then polyphony digital has. Whatever each to their own I suppose I guess some people have more problems than others.
