I came across this post today comparing the Gran Turismo 5 build and their real life representation/inspiration and I thought it was pretty cool and should be shared with you guys!

Is it just me the pictures are not working for? Doesn't matter though I have already gone quickly through google street view having a gander for myself. :)

That's GT4. If you look at my post from the News thread you'll see I reference it, but the HD GT5 allows us to see even more details.

Ah yeah didn't see it was GT5 only

I can't see the comparison pics either, only the two videos.
 
I could see the pix's, wow with PD's attention to details but that is why i like GT, great pix's, i have seen other pix's comparing R-246 and have looked on Google earth's street view but not side by side like that

BTW,why all banners in GT5 are just PD and GT sponsorships? Somebody noticed that too?

PD made the demo for Gamescom (some time in the past), maybe at the time the demo was made, hadn't worked out locations for the sponsorship, also no spectators or corner workers were added. More than likely in the final build every thing will be added.:)
 
^ Yes, I hope so. The Gamescon demo looks really unfinished, no spectators, no pit entrance, no proper baners, just 10 cars on track, etc...
 
The difference in detail between GT4 and GT5 actually just startled me when watching those two videos. The lighting and detail is a massive improvement that I didn’t notice. Yay for HD!
