GT5 Why no system link?

This is probably my biggest gripe with GT5, why no system link. I mean my friends all play this game and we wanna setup a room for a night and race.

What is the alternative to this, is it possible to setup an online game via my broadband to PSN Server and play, will it lag?

Networking better be something they are going to implement later...

System Link was great in previous GT :dopey:
 
Depends how good your connection is, and how many playstations you are going to be using. It will probably lag, but I'm not really sure.
 
Yeah thanks mate but I sort of wanted to know for certain.

Is anyone doing this at the moment or tried it?
