GT5 won't respond

This just started happening the other day. I push 'x' or any other button and nothing happens. I can push the center 'PS' button then again to get back to the game and then whatever I had pushed(lets say 'x' to go to the ucd) and then It goes there as if there were no delay. But not until I have pushed the 'PS' button twice. Anyone else or have any suggestions?
 
I had a similar issue but it was related to my pedals from my wheel being unplugged, I don't know if that's your issue or not but that was my problem
 
That was it exactly. I noticed they were not plugged in. Unplugged the wheel, then plugged the pedals back then the wheel and all was well with my world again. Thanks
