gt5 wrc just an insignificant add on ?

after many different approaches to the rally simulation i believe pd have finally got somewhere near to what i would call an overall immersive wrc experience second only to the ever present rbr simulation that is now several years old,playing gt5 wrc with the t500 rs is a pleasure to behold but the shear lack of current wrc cars and stages make it feel as if its just a gimmick add on to attract the purchases of the wrc fan base.there needs to be dlc made available for us rally fans that need more than the limited loeb input from gt5 wrc as the other limited rally titles are poor indeed ,wrc2 is a joke dirt3 is a good looking all be it limited rally arcade game,sorry if I'm only repeating older posts but I'm new to voicing my opinions.ps can beat all loeb challenges buy 20 seconds or so and need some new challenges, are there any like minded rally enthusiasts who agree or not.:scared::scared::scared::scared:
 
Well, there was some talk about the possible inclusion of Pikes Peak in the future. If that were to happen, I'd imagine we'd see some more Rally events, and possibly Rally cars. Or perhaps some of the standard Rally cars turned premium.
 
It's a nice touch, but yeah we need more rally related content to make it complete.
 
pikes peak would be awesome dirt had a great stage version but poor arcade handling,i accept that rally simulation is treated with very little enthusiasm by the developers in general but i believe when done well it could attract a large engaging fan base as has rbr 2007- 2011-2012 etc continues to do so,even the useless wrc milestone/blackbean arcade/sim sells well ,please pd give us our wrc fix please please :nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous:

But how much Rally in world world is actual racing? Isn't most of it time based? I find it weird that PD didn't add a time trial mode for MP. It would work just like the Special event rally. Just sent the players out 1 at a time, and then the person with the least amount of time wins. Could be great.
 
If you want a series to use the Premium WRC cars, why don't you check out the V4 Supercars Series

Prior to the release of GT5 I was VERY excited for what the wrc addition could mean. When it came to release, I was very dissapointed however! The stages in the game just don't seem like rallying to me (personal opinion).
I don't want to seem like a big moaner though! The rally cars are great and I have had some fun with the rallying. Do wish PD would update it though! :)
 
new events would be nice, making use of all the rally related content.
 
I want actual, real life, rally stages though. And maybe a Rally Car Pack?
 
I've never actually enjoyed rallying in this game..which is a shame as back when I was a kid it used to be my favourite motorsport.

GT3 was pretty enjoyable in terms of tracks and cars, but in GT5 the joy of Rallying just isn't there.

Sure the new cars are stunningly detailed, and modelled immaculately, but I've never actually wanted to take them out onto one of the rally tracks.

In my opinion there isn't enough involvement with WRC in this game, it's far too 'meh', dull, boring and unforgettable in this game.

I genuinely hope they add in real time trials, maybe premium upgrade some standard rally cars and definately add new and more stages (even if they aren't real world!), and oh! Pikes Peak! :D
I know this is just a big wish in the world of Gran Turismo, but who knows, maybe and hopefully they'll make it happen for GT6!

Disappointed to read that someone sees a forum where you put forward your personal thoughts and viewpoints on subjects that are of a common interest to all involved in a thread dismissed as a rally fanboy wish list ? i was taught if you have nothing of interest,constructive or creative to add to a conversation don't bother ?
 
A rally seasonal using the dirt/snow tracks currently available would keep me happy.

If this is in response to my post, then I was just simply stating my opinion. I feel it's too late for then to include it in GT5 which is why I'm hoping it'd be in GT6. I'm not demanding anything, and never will be, I'm happy with what I've got. I was just simply stating my opinion relative to the OP.
